Huge browser guide!
Web browser war is in full swing and now
it is trickier than ever to know which browser is best for you. I put togheter a
quick guide to the top five browsers.
Choosing browser is a highly individual choice, especially when all the major
browsers can do the most and read web pages about as fast. Sure, some browsers
faster than others, but when it is seconds and sometimes milliseconds.
Some have support for plugins and other not. The confusion is quickly great if
you are not technically literate. Here, we will review the five major web
browsers and the most common functions.
All browsers that we go through here is free, and you're unsure which to
choose, it's just to test you up on your own.
Firefox 3.07
Firefox is the star as quickly keyed in on the Internet Explorer's
leading position in the last year. The main reason for Firefox's success is
that it offers more flexibility than, for example Internet Explorer.
When Firefox has support for so-called plug-ins can easily extend the
functionality of the browser. There is now a plethora of plugins for Firefox
which lets you customize the browser with all sorts of functions and features.
Firefox has a nice interface and easy to use. It is also one of the browsers
that have hitherto been best to follow the so-called html-standard on the
Internet, which quickly made it popular among those who develop web sites on
the Internet.
Comments: Firefox is professionals favorite, but is nevertheless not at all
complicated to use. On the contrary, it is very user-friendly mixed with an
attractive interface. A safe choice.

Google
Chrome 1.0
Google Chrome is the newcomer who created headlines when it was released
late last year. What especially characterizes Google Chrome is minimalist user
interface, which can feel a little odd if you are familiar with Internet
Explorer or Firefox.
In its current version, Google has no support for plugins which makes it quite
limited from the right from the beginning to have very few features. Google,
however, pledged support for plugins in a future version.
Comments: Mini Mali Stone. For those of you who want a browser to a minimum of
buttons and menus.

Internet
Explorer 8
The breaking-Internet Explorer 8 has a lot to prove. Internet Explorer 7
has lost ground to its competitors ghent with breakneck speed in the last year
and Microsoft have more or less success with IE8 in order not to lose further.
On the surface, it is no major differences between IE8 and IE7 predecessor. The
biggest changes have occurred in the Microsoft shell. IE8 is Microsoft as
faster and more compliant in their own way to interpret the code that
constitutes websites.
Support for plugins missing, but an exciting new feature of IE8 is called
"accelerator". It works so if you encounter such as an English word
that you do not understand, you only need to select it and use the Glossary
understood accelerator. You'll see at once what the word means.
Comments:Fits the everyday user. For those of you who do not bother you so much
about special features in the form of plugins, but focuses on easy use.

Opera 9.64
Opera is a bit like a joker in comparison with the other browsers. It
has a nice interface and support for plugins (which here are called widgets).
There is simply no errors, but no unique advantages with Opera.
Opera has a nice feature that allows you to save the nine most common sites you
visit on a single page. You'll get the small previews of each site and can
quickly choose what you want to visit.
But if you're looking for a user-friendly browser extension features to Firefox
fits better when it has far more plugins to choose from.
Comments: Outsider. Opera has a nice appearance but offers nothing that does
not already exist, and are better, such as Firefox.

Safari 3.2.2
Safari on Mac is a really good and fast browser. However, we can not say
the same about the Windows version. Although the speed of loading pages, but
Apple has chosen to use the same interface in the Windows version that for
Macversionen.
The interface on the Mac is very good, but it belongs on a Mac. For the staunchest
Windows user, it can be confusing to use a program that does not follow the
guidelines for the design of Windows. But it is so clearly a matter of taste.
In our speed tests show Safari to be very quick to load websites. We are
waiting with bated breath for Safari 4.0, which still exist only in a beta
version.
Comments: Best for Mac enthusiasts. Safari a clean and simple browser that is
fast and supports most features required.
