New age

New Age is a movement, many also called sect, which arose in the 1960s. Operations involving many people around the world but mainly in the western world. In Sweden, it is expected, but sure statistics; there are several hundred thousand people who are involved in the movement.

In the New Age believe that there is a cosmic and universal force that will help man to find himself and have a better life. The cosmic power will be released now that the world is entering a new era, called The Age of Aquarius, which means Aquarius era. This is what the movement's name is related to, New Age means New era.

During the 1960s the U.S. was at war in Vietnam and many, particularly young people opposed the war and the ideals of society. The controversy led to the revolt of young people, the revolution's slogans was: Make Love, Not War (Pursue love, not war). The revolution had many different phases and elements, one of which was the so-called Flower Power movement. Their message was almost identical with the whole revolution slogan: Spread the flowers and love instead of bombs and hatred.

It was in the U.S. many different groups in different ways trying to find new ways and means to find themselves and their way to the cosmos. It was done by including therapy and meditation. It was felt that there was a new way to find a new way of life, new knowledge to find and unused resources of every individual.

A collective creation by some young people in Scotland in revolt spirit. They did not want to live along the lines of social ideals, but in simplicity and close to nature. We thought that the western lifestyle was mostly about money, materialism and self-career. The community devoted itself instead of meditation and spiritual exercises. They learned too much about gardening and new cultivation techniques in order to get closer to nature.

The characteristics of New Age, is that supporters may believe in what they themselves want to believe. There is no example the ten Christian commandments, which is considered to be the science of how to live. However, there are common features of all movement directions.

It is believed that there is a cosmic energy of permeates everything and confuse us with the cosmos. It is this force that the other religions call God and Allah.

We believe in the New Age that this force has the same features as the Bible God but you do not use that word and you do not see power as a person but as a suspense, nothing that affects us, but to be seen. As with God in Christianity is, in New Age man with the cosmic energy. Within each individual is a part of the cosmos.

Right now occurs a spiritual revolution. Aquarius era is about to break through, the new era, The New Age. It will not be marked by today's material life, but of spirituality and SPIRITUALISM. Our knowledge will not be based on science and reason, but more on feeling and intuition.

We as modern people have been operating under the theory out of touch with our soul that we are only thinking of the physical and material, we look not to the spiritual. It can be the cosmic energy to help us with. On the whole us from the inner wounds that must heal our prosperous best. We must understand that the body and soul are one. If one is doing poorly so feel the others are also bad. We must take care of our soul and our body, otherwise we will not do.

Also earth feels bad. We humans have destroyed and made use of nature to make money, which contributes to the material society. But we have not always done it for money and power but also of the folly and stupidity. The earth and man belong together, we do not understand, nature is just as man is a living being. She is Mother Earth and we must take care of her.

New Age movement believe that we REINCARNATE, born again, again and again. We live many lives and each life, we must "tasks". It is both easy and difficult things we have to resolve and take care of in order to go to the next life with new knowledge.

There are other creatures than that is more intelligent and knowledgeable than us as people. They may have lived long ago or be alien. Dolphins are considered in some parts of the New Age, as ancient animals, all sick people and convey important messages to us. Meditation
It has been in the New Age inspired by Buddhism and Hinduism, to find particular

It is believed that some people can act as pipelines for everything from angels to aliens, to communicate through. This knowledge has existed for several thousand years ago and was then in particular Egypt, Tibet, India and China

Positive thinking
Positive thinking is to influence future events in life. In itself goes through what to do and present a positive picture of what you're doing will go.

Healing
Healing means to make any sound, to the whole. There are also many methods.

Crystal Healing
Crystal power and the belief in it has existed in our country since many centuries. It was a

Analysis:
I think that New Age has a pretty good view of how we should live. The ideology is based on the fact that we should learn from each other, take care of each other and listen to what nature has to say. I think not that it really fits into our contemporary. I believe that a society based solely on the movement of life, would overturn more than help. If one takes the 1960s as an example as it was the more peaceful set but used many drugs to get "closer to the cosmos." This would absolutely not work in the long run. Society needed is to some extent and without them we would probably not do. I look at New Age as that has taken the best from many religions and renamed a lot, to find New Age, according to supporters ideal ideology. I choose rather to believe in a non-person force that helps us through life than to believe in a God embodied.
