Try to break this computer..
The computers that can withstand almost anything
Some have modest demands on their laptops while others would like them to withstand water, sand and solid hits. I have tested the 9 computers that are able to almost everything.
The computers have generally been
very good grades, but since almost all very expensive, too. The 9 in portable
test costs from 1.300-4.900 Dollars. Three have been rewarded with a 9 rating,
one of which has been designated "Best in Test". The winner is from
the NEC and units Shieldpro FC-N22A.
As far as i know this is the only computer
so far has received IP-55 rating, which means that you can flush it with a hose
as it is relatively good press i.
Another advantage is that it is possible to start it in 20 degrees below zero
without the hard disk needs to warm up first, although it really eats up
battery. The computer may also plus for its screen and thin design. Minus is
that it has test weakest processor (over 1 GHz) and only 1 GB of memory. The
computer is not cheap, but the story who is interested may be prepared to coin
up about 3.700 dollars.
Panasonic Tough Book CF-19 has also received a 9 rating. Like the previous
model, it is a tablet-PC (rotary screen) that is capable of a case of 90 inches
without any problems. The newspaper mentions the good screen and battery life
of almost 11 hours as two major advantages. A disadvantage is the narrow keys.
The computer will cost 3,700 dollars.
The third computer is also a Panasonic Tough Book. Model CF-F8 compete not
among the most shock-resistant most computers, but should be comparable to
other super-light computers. The computer weighs only 1.7 kilograms and is
capable of both some bumps and some dry. The big drawback is the price
according to the newspaper lying on the 3,000 dollars.
General Dynamics GD6000 costing 6.500 dollars, according to the newspaper the
worst computer in the test. It may only be 5 of ratings and criticism that it
is big, heavy and too expensive.

Good stuff Engzell, thanks for researching this. Does "Alienware" or Apple computers make the grade as far as toughness? By the way, thanks for adding me as your friend. Looking forward to more of your hubs.
Thanks for those words! I'm going to research this, would be nice to know, Apple and Alienware is two of the best brands in the biz so they should have.
